7城市申办2016年夏奥会
[b]IOC selects Candidate Cities for the 2016 Summer Games[/b]国际奥委会执行委员会将于6月4日在希腊雅典举行为期三天的会议，届时将宣布申办2016年第31届奥运会的候选城市。目前已经有7个城市向国际奥委会递交了申办报告，他们分别是：美国芝加哥、捷克布拉格、日本东京、巴西里约热内卢、阿塞拜疆巴库、卡塔尔多哈和西班牙马德里。国际奥委会将于6月4日宣布最终哪几个申办城市能成为候选城市。
此后，候选城市将向国际奥委会提交一份候选资格文件，其中要包括他们对于奥林匹克计划的深入论证。各个候选城市还将接受国际奥委会评估委员会的审核。评估委员会对每一个候选城市进行详细的考察并于国际奥委会公布主办城市之前的一个月公布此次审核结果。以下为下一阶段的工作时间表：
2008年8月8-24日 北京奥运会
2009年2月12日 候选城市向国际奥委会递交候选资格文件
选举主办城市前一个月 2016年奥运会评估委员会汇报工作
2016年奥运会主办城市将于2009年10月2日第121届国际奥委会会议上选出。
On 4 June 2008, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Executive Board will select the Candidate Cities for the Games of the XXXI Olympiad to be held in 2016. Seven Applicant Cities - Chicago (USA), Prague (Czech Republic), Tokyo (Japan), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Baku (Azerbaijan), Doha (Qatar) and Madrid (Spain)*- have submitted their applications and are eager to know whether they can move to next phase, the so-called candidature procedure phase.
IOC President Jacques Rogge will announce the selected Candidate Cities in a press conference at 4.30 p.m. (GMT).
* The cities are listed in the order of drawing of lots
[b]From Applicants to Candidates[/b]
The Candidate Cities selected on 4 June will be requested to submit their Candidature File with an in-depth description of their Olympic project. They will also prepare for the visit of the IOC Evaluation Commission. The Evaluation Commission will make a detailed technical assessment of each candidature and publish a report one month before the election of the host city for the IOC members to review. The following timetable has been established for this phase:
8 – 24 August 2008 Olympic Games Observer Programme – Beijing 2008
12 February 2009 Submission of Candidature File to the IOC
One month before the election of the host city Report by the 2016 IOC Evaluation Commission
Election of the Host City on 2 October 2009
The election of the host city of the 2016 Games will take place on 2 October 2009 during the 121st IOC Session in Copenhagen. IOC members will cast their votes until one city has obtained a majority. 美国芝加哥、日本东京、巴西里约热内卢、西班牙马德里四座城市将入下轮进行终极PK~ 怎么没有巴黎、莫斯科:ohmy: 呢 ？

这个问题还不简单 , 巴黎 莫斯科 没申请, 索契不是刚申请到冬奥云会么, 再忙夏奥会忙不过来啊 呵呵。巴黎的心已经凉透了。:ohmy: 西班牙的安全问题可定会受到质疑，在这1992年巴塞罗那才举办奥运会，不会这么快轮到它们。日本东京历史上也举办过，再考虑到北京刚承办，也不太可能轮到日本。就剩下美国和巴西，我想也许是巴西，因为毕竟南美洲的奥运会在历史上都极少，再者美国衰退的势头也出现，所以很有可能会出现再次在第三世界国家举办的可能。
